mid term break!

Finally, the long awaited mid term break is here! Last 2 weeks was seriously a difficult time with the econs assignment to complete and 2 tests to handle, not forgetting that one test included organic mechanisms. Luckily had Xiuhui and Joyce around to help me:) Thanks to both of them! Next 3 tests coming up is the organic chem test, the inorg part of spectroscopy and instrumental analysis. Sometimes i just feel that i am competing with time to complete everything:( Maybe cos i am also quite a last min person.

Last Wed i fell sick after Organic lab. Had headache after i got back. Totally Ko-ed after i got back home despite having spectroscopy test the next day. The chemicals i inhaled made me feel totally dizzy and sick.  The next day when i went to school for organic lecture 2 of my lab frens also fell sick and another one also complained of having headache. :( We had to be v v cautious about not spilling anything  during lab or else the 7hrs of preparation will go to waste and we may end up not having any product. For the 1st lab session i accidentally closed the fumehood and knocked onto the conical flask containing my product when everything was almost complete. Only managed to save 1/4 of my product. Haiz..my heart just dropped cos i had to report the yield as only 27%.

Was sad that i could not spend time with Kelvin as much as i wanted to when i was busy. We missed the celebration of mooncake festival together, and when we were together time just passed by so quickly, especially during weekends when we could meet up only in the evenings after tuition.

Haha today we met up and watched the Disaster Movie..which i think is a disaster too. The whole movie is really wierd. Or its meant to be like that? Lol..And we are addicted to this Jap music game on DS! Got the 2nd version of the game from Peiyun. Thanks to her! Think its really fun. Past few days have been playing for hours. And i finally got the Navigator phone at a good deal. Thanks dear for helping me keep a lookout:) Here's a pic we took when we took using the Navigator phone when we just got it.
