Random thoughts

Last fri went to Kelvin's place..Dropped by some shops in Causeway Point and got attracted to this remote controlled Honda Stream. Haha bought it cos i like compact 7 seater cars..While buying the toy car, Kelvin and I discussed that we didnt mind getting this as our first car since it wasn't so big and was a family friendly car....UNTIL..we dropped by the library building and saw some Honda cars on display. Went to ask about Honda Stream and Honda Fit and realised that only the first row of the Honda Stream car was air conditioned despite it having 3 rows. We were quite shocked bcos people at the last row would definitely feel very hot. Hmm then we were thinking how was it going to function as a good 7 seater car if not many people were going to sit at the last row with them feeling so hot and uncomfortable?? Worse thing is that it is also quite petrol consuming being 1.8L..:( Lol. Wouldn't a normal 5 seater car be a better choice then?? With it being only 1.5-1.6L. Toyota Corolla Axio seems like a nice 5 seater car.

And so realised that Honda Fit is a much wiser choice than the Honda Stream although it looks small on the outside. The interior seems quite huge and the 2nd row of seats can be folded down to create much more space. As such it also functions like a mini van..And the best thing is that it is petrol efficient, being only 1.3L. However there is a small disadvantage about owning this car.It has a high cost of $58000 which may put you down. But the long term benefits for owning this smaller car seems to outweigh this high cost price..Haha what do you all think?

Sigh.

Haiz. Grandfather passed away on tues at 11.55am. Sensed that something was wrong when i kept receiving phone calls from my grandparents place during lectures. In the end, turned out to be true. Have been tired but not sleeping well because i have the belief that the spirit will linger on after a person passes away. 2 days before a cockroach suddenly landed on my cushion in the middle of the night. Took the cushion and threw it on the floor. Took me quite some time to calm down and convince myself that everything was all right before i went back to sleep. Then last nite a beetle or moth landed on my neck while i was going to sleep. Haiz. Felt so afraid. Could not sleep again and when i finally slept i think it was close to 4.30am. Woke up at 8am and went to school. Had test today but felt so tired that i wasnt reading the questions properly and could not finish a 15m question. Sigh. Just what is wrong with me?

Despite reminding myself that i should stop all this last min studying, this was exactly what i did yesterday. Just that yesterday was really the ultimate. I woke up at 10am and chionged all the way, reading up notes ever since the semester started in Aug. That was around 12 sets. When i finally finished pass midnight, i really had no time to practise. Sigh. Took out Joyce test paper and tutorial to look through and was so glad i did cos 2 test qns were quite similar to hers.

Then today lecturer went through the organic test. Haiz so dead bcos i got almost everything wrong. Possibility of getting less than 30/100 is 100%. All due to last min studying again. Have never been doing any tutorials during weekends with all the tuitions. Seriously too tired to do anything after that. Passing this module seems like quite far fetched now. Really do not know how to go about studying it. Had more than 1 week to study for the test but i think nothing went into my brain again.

Kelvin also had a test today and he looked so demoralised after that. Much more demoralised than me. Then we had a discussion about studying smart instead of studying hard and how we should change our study patterns to do better in our studies. Just hope that with our love and support for each other, everything will turn out to be fine at the end of this semester. Feel so so drained now...i just feel like sleeping. But there is so much more stuff to do, and i think i can finally take a short break only after the cremation on sat. But yet after that there's econs test to study for. When will all this work end?

4th month anniversary

Things didn't turn out so bad in the end..My spectro inorg test was postponed till the week after organic..and my econs tutorial was cancelled this week. Haha this meant that lessons ended at 2pm yesterday, and i had time to go out with Kelvin to celebrate our 4th month anniversary! 

I made sure i left sci at 2.25pm after photocopying the organic solutions manual to meet him at 2.45pm. But along the way met Joyce, Xiuhui, Cp and Lifei. Was 'interrogated' by Joyce who asked me where i was going and she insisted that she couldn't hear that i was going to Computing. I wasn't talking to u ma..i was talking to Xiuhui who was standing just beside me. Lol..joking. It was funny. In the end waited for the bus quite long too and couldn't make it in time to meet Kelvin at Computing and had to meet him at the arts bus stop. Anyway happy 4th month anniversary to Joyce and CP too!

Kelvin and I went to Ajisen Ramen in Causeway point. The Scallops Ramen and the tofu side dish was great as usual but the dessert was really horrible. In the end, we ended up going to Gelare for the ice cream wafer. Had a very filling meal..And after that he had to rush off for tuition at 4.50pm. Haha time spent together was short but glad for the little amount of time spent together:) Here's a pic we took outside Gelare.

Kelvin returned me my DS despite me bringing the charger and Nintendogs games to school to pass to Kris. Ended up playing for a while in the evening and slept arnd 9.45pm. Wanted to wake up to do stuff but realised that i did not set any alarm and KO-ed all the way till 10am today. Lol..Guess i was too tired. Got to mug for organic soon..despite today being a public holiday:(
